Remember way back in the day, there was this thing called ‘DOS’. During those times, there was a game called Jagged Alliance, which was a cross between a role-playing game and a turn-based tactical combat game. Today, Empire Interactive announced that the Jagged Alliance franchise will be making its debut on the Nintendo DS sometime in the near future. This came from the official announcement.

“Jagged Alliance provides an exciting blend of RPG and turn-based action, which has already won over fans worldwide,” said James Spice, vice president of marketing at Empire Interactive. “It’s the right time to bring the game’s frenetic battles to Nintendo DS and offer a new generation of players an exhilarating gameplay experience.”

“Jagged Alliance for DS is one of the many highlights in our upcoming release pipeline and this announcement augments Empire’s commitment to bringing quality titles to a global market,” said Clive Kabatznik, CEO of Silverstar Holdings, the company that runs Empire Interactive. “The title will prove to be a truly entertaining experience for DS gamers.”

The new generation of gamers should enjoy this game as they try to liberate the Island of Metavira through the nonlinear gameplay. This game should be exciting.
