- A statement made a while back by Nintendo president Satoru Iwata saying that the popular gaming company may cross over into the cell phone realm as long as it would steer clear of monthly charges (Which would be Sweet) made a buzz around the possibilities of what Nintendo could bring to the already fast growing world of high tech gadget mobile phone devices. Well all the buzz was crushed when Reggie Fils-Aime, President and CFO of Nintendo America said that it is not a venture he foresees Nintendo taking on, “Telephony is not our wheelhouse” However the company is considering a device with a always-on wireless connectivity feature which could be a cool alternative for communication.
